I’ll say it: Salad spinners don’t get the attention they deserve.

If you can’t stand the heat, get out of my kitchen...but feel free to leave a gift on your way out. If you drill deeper into the best hostess gifts or foray into the world of gifts for foodies, you’ll find yourself perusing giftable kitchen items, which might sound weird at first. No, I don’t suggest you gift your sister-in-law a refrigerator—although I’m sure she’d appreciate a cloud couch dupe if you’re looking to splash out. There are lots of reasonable gadgets and tools (32 to be exact) that make for highly desirable presents. Better yet, they’re all perfectly normal things to gift, even if your recipient isn’t Top Chef-obsessed. Among them, you’ll find delicious-scented candles and chic home decor, along with countertop appliances and space-saving storage. In short, here’s everything you need to stock my dream kitchen. (Friends, family, and everyone else: take note.)

Known for the do-it-all Always Pan, Our Place strikes again with its newest innovation: the Wonder Oven. It can air fry, bake, toast, broil, roast, and reheat while taking up minimal counter space (and looking pretty cute).

Who doesn’t love a good dutch oven? This 6.75-quart enamel option is durable and comes in colors cute enough to leave it out on the counter.

This is a personal must-have. Don’t struggle with a traditional wine key. It’s not the stone ages anymore, people!

Anyone who keeps a drawer of plastic wrapped fast food utensils will gladly accept this upgrade.

A KitchenAid is kind of the gift of all gifts. Everybody’s parents seems to have received one has a wedding gift, so why not keep the tradition going?

Few kitchen brands are as respected—or as famous—as Le Creuset. You can find just about any dish or cookware from the brand, but I personally love this versatile set of baking dishes.

This might sound strange, but knives have never looked so good.

The salad spinner is truly one of the most ingenious inventions, if you ask me. We have Jean Mantelet and Gilberte Fouineteau to thank for this gadget—and yes, I just googled “who invented the salad spinner?”

All the culinary essentials made with only the finest quality and housed in the finest wooden vessel...could a gift be any more complete?

For years, I have been spreading the gospel about plate-bowl hybrids, or plowls, as I like to call them. I can’t explain it, but they are somehow better than both plates and bowls individually.

Where has this been all my life? Cut, de-pit, and perfectly slice your avo every time with this tool from OXO. Now if the grocery store could just stock them when they’re actually ripe...

Are these non-toxic, ceramic-coated containers fantastic enough on their own? Yes, but what really puts them over the top are the cabinet organizers that come included with the set.

As far as legacy brands, Waterford Crystal is among the greats. Yes, you can choose from martini and tumbler glasses or platters and photo frames, but you can’t go wrong with a timeless pitcher.

For on-the-go matcha or your daily protein shake, Visp is the space-saving, self-contained blender bottle. Dishwasher-safe and outfitted with a whisper quiet whisk, I believe everyone needs one of these bad boys.

Tablet? No, this is your sous chef. With Google Assistant, you can use voice assist to look up recipes, ask questions (what is one-fourth of one-third, anyway? And can I use coconut oil in lieu of eggs?), and access apps (like Spotify) without wiping the cookie dough off your hands.

Electric kettles are the cat’s pajamas as is, but this thin-necked model is ideal for nailing the perfect cup of pourover coffee.

If there’s one kitchen brand to know, it’s probably OXO. Talk about gadgets and gizmos aplenty.

This magnetic shelf is a real game-changer for those of us in tiny apartments.

True foodies know that the quality of basics like spices, oils, and vinegars actually makes a major difference.

Anytime a condiment goes viral, you know it has to be good. I mean, just look at sriracha...or ranch dressing.
